VLCD Day 11

This week has defintley been harder for me then the first week. Probably because I saw the pounds flying off the first week and this week I am either staying the same or gaining a pound like I did this morning. UUGHHH. I think I know why I gained though. I tried cabbage yesterday for my lunch vegetable with ACV, diced apples and salt and pepper. It was yummy and filling. But I read on group threads that some people stall or gain on cabbage, I think that is the case with me. Oh well, I will stick with the asparagus (YUM!), cucumber, tomatoes and spinach.

I did however take my measurements and...drum roll please...... I have lost 9 inches!! So I guess that's what the whole "Pounds & Inches" is all about. Even though you don't lose pounds, you still lose inches! I can deal with that!

  1. I went back and looked at the eating chart. How ironic. Every day I eat broccoli, the next day I have a loss of .6lbs.

    So Today I will try w/o broc and see. Sigh. I bought a huge bag, but my hubby and son like it so it's okay.

  2. I didn't do well with apples either, never tried cabbage after hearing all the bad things about gains. I stuck with grapefruit, chicken, asparagus, salsa, cucumbers and once I figured out what worked I tried not to vary because I'd gain. I also added a whey protein shake in the mornings, which really helped I think.
