Can I get a do over please!!!???

Ok so I totally fell off the wagon. And gained everything and more back. So Im really serious about this now and want this more than anything. I am starting a new round on 1/1/2011. I am determined I am going to do everything by the book and not cheat at all. I know now that this is the only way that I can succeed with this diet. My 33rd birthday is March 24th and my goal is to have lost 40 pounds by then. Do I think I can do it? Shoot, I KNOW I can do it. So here we go again. IM READY!!

Funny thing happened...

Ok so I was at Bible Study tonight and the funniest thing happened!! My friend had made dinner while I was there and offered me some. They were having Tilapia cooked in butter and Jamaican Jerk sauce , rice and corn both with tons of butter. I had already had my chicken breast and cucumbers before I came, so I told her "no thanks, I already ate", she said, "what, are you on a diet or something"?. I told her , "yeah something like that". And that was that.

Well later on in the evening we got on the subject about losing weight. My friend El mentioned that a girl at his job just lost 25 pounds doing some kind of shots and 500 calories. Then his wife mentions that she also knows a girl and her mom doing the same diet.."injecting some kind of growth hormone". lol And they just were saying that they never heard of such a thing..blah blah blah.

I started laughing and had the biggest smile on my face....I told them that I am on that same diet. The HCG diet and that it is NOT a growth hormone. I gave them a ton of information about it and how I have been doing the protocol. They were all amazed and impressed on how much knowledge I knew about it. I explained that I did my research on it before starting.

I offered to help them get started if they were interested. Some of them may take me up on that offer! lol
I love HCG!

VLCD Day 21

Today is day 21, I am down 14.5lbs!! I could have lost more but I cheated last Saturday and had cake and Ice cream on my son's birthday and a few glasses of wine. That had me gain a few pounds, But the next day I jumped back on the diet wagon and woke up today to a great loss of 4.5 pounds!! I love HCG!! Oh and a few days ago I mixed a new batch. This time I used a different brand. Before I used Provigil from drugdeliver.ca. This time I used Hugoc (from alldaychemist.com). I went down on my dose from 200iu to 175iu. And WOW what a difference. I am not hungry at all. I think Im gonna stick with this new brand. AND I had to buy a new scale..the cheapo Taylor brand I bought from Target has been weighing wrong giving me a different weight everytime I got off and got back on. So I bought a WW scale that a lot of other people recommended to me. I like it much better, it is very accurate and it measures to the ounce.

VLCD Day 11

This week has defintley been harder for me then the first week. Probably because I saw the pounds flying off the first week and this week I am either staying the same or gaining a pound like I did this morning. UUGHHH. I think I know why I gained though. I tried cabbage yesterday for my lunch vegetable with ACV, diced apples and salt and pepper. It was yummy and filling. But I read on group threads that some people stall or gain on cabbage, I think that is the case with me. Oh well, I will stick with the asparagus (YUM!), cucumber, tomatoes and spinach.

I did however take my measurements and...drum roll please...... I have lost 9 inches!! So I guess that's what the whole "Pounds & Inches" is all about. Even though you don't lose pounds, you still lose inches! I can deal with that!

VLCD Day 9

Ok so I am really paying for that cheat on Friday....I have been stuck at 190 for 2 days now. I don't think I am going to do an Apple Day just yet. For those who are wondering what an Apple Day is..it is where you eat nothing but 6 apples from noon one day to noon the next day limiting your liquids to only quench your thirst. This is supposed to help break a stall.

Also I have been not feeling too well since Sunday evening so this may not help either. My dang Fibromyalgia is acting up again. All my muscles and joints ache and feel weak, kinda fluish. I took an Epsom salt bath last night and that helped a little but again this morning still battling with the fatigue and aches. Hopefully this will pass soon so I can feel normal again!

The feeling of GUILT!

ooohhh I was doing so good, then Friday evening hit. It was getting late and I still had not made it home yet. I was starving, my son was starving so we stopped into Sharies. HUGE MISTAKE! There is NOTHING on their menu that is even close to protocol. I ended up ordering a 6oz steak, eggs and loaded hashbrowns. I should have asked them to leave off the hash browns but I didnt and ended up pretty much licking my plate! I walked out of there overly stuffed and feeling like I wanted to vomit! Later that night I felt sick and my stomach was doing somersaults! I drank a ton of water until I went to bed.

Saturday morning I weighed in and stayed the same weight, I skipped an injection (something you are supposed to do once a week to prevent immunity). No loss, no gain. Still my stomach was killing me and pretty much was in the bathroom all morning. I will NEVER try that stunt again!! That is what I get for cheating! I made my lunch and dinner and packed it up with me since I had an entire day at the mall school shopping with the pickiest kids ever. I stayed on protocol all day. Even treated myself to an iced coffee at starbucks with stevia.

This morning I woke up and jumped on the scale , I lost 1.5lbs! Im now down to 190.5! Yipeee! Im still a little worried that a gain will show up in the next few days from my cheat. But, I will just keep it pushing and NEVER do that again! It is sooooo not worth it!!

VLCD Day 2

So yesterday was VLCD day 2. Still going strong. Yesterday my menu consisted of the following:
Breakfast: Yerba Mate tea and lemon water.
Lunch: 3.5oz Grilled chicken, a cucumber seasoned and dipped in apple cider vinegar, and an apple dipped in apple cider vinegar. Water
Dinner: 3.5oz of Grilled lemon Tilapia, grilled tomatoes and for dessert I had a baked apple with stevia and cinnamon (this is my new favorite!) My kids even loved it! Water.

I was a little hungry on my way home from work, I could feel my tummy rumble. But I made my dinner in less than 10 minutes on my George Foreman grill (my new best friend) and was full and satisfied!

A friend of mine stopped by while I was cooking and I slipped up and told her I was on a diet. After several questions I caved in and gave her a run down about the HCG diet. She looked at me a little strange when I told her about the injections and what HCG is. But the more I told her the more she was interested in doing the diet herself. So I gave her my blog address and told her to take a look at it and my links to decide if this is for her or not.

This morning I was excited about stepping on the scale again. I lost another 1.5 pounds! Im down to 194.5! Woooo Hoooo!!
