This week has defintley been harder for me then the first week. Probably because I saw the pounds flying off the first week and this week I am either staying the same or gaining a pound like I did this morning. UUGHHH. I think I know why I gained though. I tried cabbage yesterday for my lunch vegetable with ACV, diced apples and salt and pepper. It was yummy and filling. But I read on group threads that some people stall or gain on cabbage, I think that is the case with me. Oh well, I will stick with the asparagus (YUM!), cucumber, tomatoes and spinach.
I did however take my measurements and...drum roll please...... I have lost 9 inches!! So I guess that's what the whole "Pounds & Inches" is all about. Even though you don't lose pounds, you still lose inches! I can deal with that!

VLCD Day 9
Ok so I am really paying for that cheat on Friday....I have been stuck at 190 for 2 days now. I don't think I am going to do an Apple Day just yet. For those who are wondering what an Apple Day is..it is where you eat nothing but 6 apples from noon one day to noon the next day limiting your liquids to only quench your thirst. This is supposed to help break a stall.
Also I have been not feeling too well since Sunday evening so this may not help either. My dang Fibromyalgia is acting up again. All my muscles and joints ache and feel weak, kinda fluish. I took an Epsom salt bath last night and that helped a little but again this morning still battling with the fatigue and aches. Hopefully this will pass soon so I can feel normal again!

The feeling of GUILT!
ooohhh I was doing so good, then Friday evening hit. It was getting late and I still had not made it home yet. I was starving, my son was starving so we stopped into Sharies. HUGE MISTAKE! There is NOTHING on their menu that is even close to protocol. I ended up ordering a 6oz steak, eggs and loaded hashbrowns. I should have asked them to leave off the hash browns but I didnt and ended up pretty much licking my plate! I walked out of there overly stuffed and feeling like I wanted to vomit! Later that night I felt sick and my stomach was doing somersaults! I drank a ton of water until I went to bed.
Saturday morning I weighed in and stayed the same weight, I skipped an injection (something you are supposed to do once a week to prevent immunity). No loss, no gain. Still my stomach was killing me and pretty much was in the bathroom all morning. I will NEVER try that stunt again!! That is what I get for cheating! I made my lunch and dinner and packed it up with me since I had an entire day at the mall school shopping with the pickiest kids ever. I stayed on protocol all day. Even treated myself to an iced coffee at starbucks with stevia.
This morning I woke up and jumped on the scale , I lost 1.5lbs! Im now down to 190.5! Yipeee! Im still a little worried that a gain will show up in the next few days from my cheat. But, I will just keep it pushing and NEVER do that again! It is sooooo not worth it!!

VLCD Day 2
So yesterday was VLCD day 2. Still going strong. Yesterday my menu consisted of the following:
Breakfast: Yerba Mate tea and lemon water.
Lunch: 3.5oz Grilled chicken, a cucumber seasoned and dipped in apple cider vinegar, and an apple dipped in apple cider vinegar. Water
Dinner: 3.5oz of Grilled lemon Tilapia, grilled tomatoes and for dessert I had a baked apple with stevia and cinnamon (this is my new favorite!) My kids even loved it! Water.
I was a little hungry on my way home from work, I could feel my tummy rumble. But I made my dinner in less than 10 minutes on my George Foreman grill (my new best friend) and was full and satisfied!
A friend of mine stopped by while I was cooking and I slipped up and told her I was on a diet. After several questions I caved in and gave her a run down about the HCG diet. She looked at me a little strange when I told her about the injections and what HCG is. But the more I told her the more she was interested in doing the diet herself. So I gave her my blog address and told her to take a look at it and my links to decide if this is for her or not.
This morning I was excited about stepping on the scale again. I lost another 1.5 pounds! Im down to 194.5! Woooo Hoooo!!

VLCD Day1
I am so happy! !
Yesterday was day 1 of the VLCD. As soon as I got to work the temptations started coming in. One girl brought in a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies she baked. I didn't give in. Then my other co-worker walked in with a dozen fresh Krispy Creams! I didn't give in. Then ANOTHER co-worker walked in with chocolate!! I didn't give in! I swear GOD was testing me yesterday to see how much willpower I actually have! haha
For breakfast I drank Yerba Tea, Green Tea, and ice cold water. Lunch I had 3.5 oz of grilled chicken breast, spinach salad with my homemade dressing (Apple cider vinegar, strawberries and stevia blended up), a piece of melba toast and 2 strawberries, and lots of water. Dinner I had another 3.5oz of grilled chicken breast, cucumber with pepper and seasoning dipped in apple cider vinegar and an apple. I was stuffed!! I was NEVER hungry at all yesterday!
My feet were a little swollen last night and had a little bit of a headache, from what I understand that it is probably from my body getting rid of all the toxins and this shall subside. I was so happy to wake up this morning and step on the scale and see the numbers 196 lit up!! I lost 4 pounds! Im down 3 pounds from my starting weight!

Loading days
So yesterday was Day 1. I woke up, used the restroom and took my starting weight. It was 199. I injected my first dose of HCG then started grubbing! In the morning I ate a huge bowl of frosted mini wheats covered in whole milk and a large glass of whole milk. I had a baby shower /bbq/party to go to so I stopped by Starbucks and got a venti Carmel Machiato and a cheeseburger from McDonalds. At the party I ate pepperoni pizza, fried chicken, mac mac and cheese, collard greens with bacon, a huge piece of chocolate cake with frosting, hershey kisses, and lots of wine coolers. I felt like I was going to explode!
Day 2- Woke up this morning and weighed in at 200.5, took my shot. So I gained 1.5lbs , this is normal. I would have thought I gained more with all the crap I ate. So, today Im going to do it all over again. Today is the potluck at church so Im sure there will be lots of fatty foods to eat!

Its finally here!
My HCG arrived today!! I am so excited! Never thought I would here myself say that Im excited about dieting or getting shots! hahaha! It came just in time for me to start tomorrow which happens to be a Saturday ( a perfect day to start because you get to gorge on fatty food for the loading phase). I think after reading about other peoples success I am going to start at 175 iu daily, and if the huger is still there I can bump it up to 200iu daily. Im contemplating what I will pig out on tomorrow, since basically I will never eat this food ever again...lol
Im thinking maybe for breakfast.. pancakes covered in butter and syrup and lots of bacon. Lunch maybe a whopper and fries from Burger King. Dinner pizza with lots of cheese and olives! and for dessert ICE CREAM! Yum. Ice cream will be the hardest for me to give up, it is my weakness. So, then I get to do that again on Sunday! Then on Monday I will be starting the VLCD. Im ready!

Its on its way!
Okay so I just checked the tracker on drugdelivery.ca and my shipment has left New York! Yay it made it through customs NO PROBLEM! I also ordered a food scale from Walmart.com and I ordered the 101 Worry - Free Hcg Diet Recipes cookbook from Amazon.com. Im getting so excited to start!
